Interactive Concerts for All Ages ~ Workshops & Lessons
"...engaging for all ages. Very appropriate and heartfelt." - Michigan's Great Outdoors Culture Tour host

Wanda Degen has built a career rich in experiences sharing her love of music and history with audiences all over her home state of Michigan - from Isle Royale in Lake Superior to Monroe in the far southeastern corner of the Lower Peninsula - and beyond.

In concert Wanda's talents are showcased on the autoharp and dulcimer - folk instruments of the zither family.

A curator of songs, she draws from a repertoire favoring traditional and contemporary Celtic, Folk, Great Lakes, and vintage Pop - with occasional original selections.

Wanda has released nine recordings, made several videos, and has self-published a storybook for children.

Whether singing for seniors in retirement communities, engaging toddlers at childcare centers, providing instrumental music for weddings, conducting residencies as a teaching artist in elementary schools, presenting concerts at state campgrounds, libraries, folk clubs, or festivals, it is the connection with audiences that keeps this seasoned performer inspired to do it all - to share more. And it is Wanda's enthusiasm - and ability to connect - that keeps audiences asking for more.

"Thank you for making beautiful music. Sometimes artists contribute to people's lives in ways they would never guess!!" - C. Stiles
